RiftRoller: Arcade Space Game offers crisp, simple but clean graphics that fetch the feel of both a space Odyssey and the Tron universe. Intuitive controls and a responsive system allow the player the ability to put this game down and pick it back up with ease. As such, this game is perfect for the casual gamer with a busy lifestyle. Furthermore, RiftRoller: Arcade Space Game provides an exercise for the reflexes, with the obstacles spawning at an exciting rate, meaning the player plays on the edge of their seat the entire time.
Issues with the game include the fact that it is riddled with ads, and, perhaps more intrusive, the fact that the player needs to either pay for additional balls once they’ve exhausted their initial supply, or wait upwards of fifteen minutes for a new ball to be added to their inventory. Again, the game will work well for the casual gamer, one who finds they have a couple minutes to kill, but not for an avid gamer.
If it were not for the slow refresh rate of the balls, RiftRoller: Arcade Space Game would have a higher replay value, as even with its issues, the fun one can have with the game is slow dying. Dodging walls and collecting cubics never seems to lose its enjoyment factor, and this would undoubtedly go double for the casual gamer, in which this game would most likely be considered near perfect.
The World has come to an end, life as we know it rests on a single embryonic force, can you guide it to safety and give the human race the second chance it surely deserves?
Embrace your competitive side and aim for the highest score in this simple addictive roller!
